Es políticamente incorrecto decirlo, pero no todos los aspectos del 'calentamiento global' son negativos :=)

Es un ejercicio interesante el pensar como sería una matriz de cables submarinos que reduzca lo mas posible los retardos entre todos las ciudades de mas de X habitantes (1 millón por decir algo). En Uruguay nos está faltando mas BW directo a Europa, Africa y Asia, ya que casi todo lo que tenemos va por USA.

También hay que acordarse que no alcanza con los cables sino que hay que habilitar las condiciones de negocio para que se de el peering local, o lo mas local posible.
